‘Algae Garden’

‘Algae Garden’ comprises 150 tampons each impregnated with a different fragrance. Some of the smells are natural, others artificial, with each one built in the fragrances of rare flower species. In this work Maciá examines contradictions between olfactory and visual information in a re-evaluation of preconceptions about objects, smells, place and memory.
