The story of Noah's Ark recurs across cultures, languages, geography and time. In the early 17th century the natural philosopher John Wilkins attempted to comprehensively archive the list of animals that boarded the Ark. Working with chemists from Imperial College and perfumer Ricardo Moya, Macia has created a scent from the excrement of the animals on Wilkins’s list. The dispensing vessel was designed by Jasper Morrison and disperses scented oil intended to provoke our imagination.
